Training

The Satellite Technician and Retailer Society recognizes the need for in-depth, nuts & bolts training. There is a rash of bad (not properly trained) installers out there. It is our main goal to make sure all installers have the proper knowledge to perform truely "professional" installations and service in all fields of Low-Voltage.. But we will not stop there. We will offer technicians training in basic business practices to include, but not limited to, bookkeeping, invoicing, taxes, licenses, etc.

While technicians are the main labor force for the industry, retailers also need training. We will attempt to cover all aspects of business survival as well as diversification into other Low-Voltage areas of business.

This training program will be a massive on-going undertaking as it will include most Low-Voltage electronic systems in the marketplace today and will expand into the future technologoes. Members and volunteers are needed to help out in the areas of their expertise.
